The photographs of the Bach 42, Bach 50 and Conn 88H you see in this web site are conversions done in St. Louis by Bill Meyers at St. Louis Woodwind & Brass Instrument Repair, Inc. We can make conversions of most large bore tenor trombones. However, the process involves honing and lapping the valve after it is installed on the horn. Because of the expertise required, we will only do these conversions in St. Louis. If you want such a conversion contact Bob Miller at Miller Valve LC.

In addition, Miller Valve LC now offers retrofit kits for all Bach Model 42 and 50B trombones and for all Conn 8H and 88H trombones.

The retrofit kits consist of all of the tubing, valve(s) and assemblies from the slide receiver through the small main tuning slide and include the two braces which will attach the valve assembly to the bell.

Your repairman can then attach the braces of our kit to your bell to complete the installation.

30 Day Approval

We offer these retrofit kits with a 30 day approval money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with this product during 30 days from the date you receive it, let us know . We will send you a prepaid shipping label to return the kit to us. Upon receipt of the undamaged kit, we will return your money.
